EMELBI: Much of my work is informed by inner city landscapes, urban culture and the wealth of diversity within urban city life.

People and characters feature heavily in my work. I have an absolute fascination for the human condition and create with this passion in mind.

More recently my influences have come from the broader aspects of life, taking into consideration my travels, personal experiences and philosophies.

I have a deep rooted passion for art and design moved by colour, image, structure and form. Art for me is infinite, and I am consumed by the endless possibilities of the creative process.

Using a large amount of photography, scanned media, hand drawn and digitally generated illustrations and graphics, my work blends traditional techniques with digital technology.
