It was in an old sketchbook of mine and I happened upon it recently.
When I opened the pages of the sketchbook I realised that I had opened it upside down and that the image that was staring back at me was this simple drawing of a head with spectacles on.
It dawned on me that the inverted image still worked in a quirky kind of way. The expression was quite different upside down than it was the correct way up. So for a bit of fun I put this illustration together introducing a simple line to represent the mouth. I have now captured that moment in time that made me smile. Simple things…
